Joseph Jones agreement to apprentice with Robert How, 1799.

An agreement whereby Joseph Jones, son of Ezra Jones, late of New Haven, Connecticut, deceased, agreed to be apprenticed to Robert How of New Haven to learn the art and mystery of goldsmithing. Joseph was 14 at the time of the contract and agreed to serve for seven years. The document is not signed, indicating it may be a contemporary copy of the contract.
